I have many non-Korean asian friends that claim that a V-shaped face on a Korean person (even though it is common on other asian faces) is naturally impossible, because all Koreans MUST always have square faces. So they say every single V-shaped faces on Koreans I see in public in Korea means that each and every one of them had $ 10,000 US invasive face sculpting surgery. While I know plastic surgery is certainly a fad in Korea these day (especially for eyes and skin) I have a hard time believing that a majority of Koreans got face sculpting surgery. Like even the geeky ones (that don't dress fashionably or where makeup), the ones with bad acne, the ones with single eyelids, the 90 year olds, the elementary school children, pictures of some people from the 1980s, many that I also see can sometimes have V-shaped faces too. Really?? I can't believe it. I'd like to see some statistics to back it up either way..... The person I know lives in Seoul and while they walk down the street they will whisper "plastic surgery, plastic surgery, plastic surgery, plastic surgery....etc." at every person they pass with a v-shaped face. When I go to any neighboring country to Korea (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, etc.) all the people there say, "you know all of the Koreans have square faces and have plastic surgery to have a v-shaped face" so it is not just my friend who is propagating this. why do we MUST ALWAYS HAVE SQUARE FACES? i don't understand that? HOW IS IT NATURALLY IMPOSSIBLE? i don't understand how someone who's not korean can say this? like they have no right it's the complete opposite of what your so called friends said. a majority of koreans have a natural v-shaped face, or somewhat of a slim oval, circle, or heart shape barely any koreans have square faces. NOT EVERY KOREAN PERSON GETS PLASTIC SURGERY! jesus. people need to stop thinking that ordinary koreans almost never get plastic surgery, so i don't know where they're getting this from.. people really do need to stop stereotyping.. i think your non-korean asian friends are just jealous, truthfully.. you shouldn't believe people who make accusations about korea if THEY'RE NOT EVEN KOREAN!

this is really awks because i am 100% korean and i have a v-shaped face. and tell your 'non-korean asian' friends to go to korea and look for themselves, sure people have gotten surgery but your friends have absolutely no right to say that everyone with a v-shaped face has been through surgey.
