As tempting as it is to put something on it my doctor said not to. He said it needed to dry out. My daughters baby acne went away at about 5 to 6 weeks

Answer by Silmeria81
Just keep his face clean and moisturized. It will go away on it's own. See, your baby has been exposed to your hormones (in little girls it can cause bloody discharge, for example) and when they wear off, the acne will go away.

Leave it be...most babies get it. Their skin is soooo sensitive- don't use anything but plain water on it! Make sure you wipe away any milk/spitup etc. If you are really concerned call your pediatrition.
