I've had moderate to severe cystic acne for about 10 years now. The only solution the dermatologist ever gave me were antibiotics or Accutane. The antibiotics did clear up my face, but not without a price for the long term use. I've noticed that side effects increase the longer you take something. They also kill the good bacteria in your stomach if taken too long which can lead to other problem too. The doctors will never recommend you the natural alternatives that are out there because if you can cure yourself, why do you need them. In my opinion, you don't need and should not take antibiotics for such a mild case of acne. Prescribed creams work well with a good washing regimen. Also, never underestimate good vitamins.. sometimes its all you need.

No do not use medication for just a few pimples. Use black seed oil...its a very powerful anti inflammatory (ie it makes redness on skin go away) and even makes acne go away if u use it consistently. You can buy it at any health food store. All you need to do is apply it to the area and leave it there for at least half an hour and wash it off. You'll be surprised at how well it works. I was.
