I have kind of dry skin and I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and also acne on my arm so the PanOxyl Acne Cleansing Bar seems like it will work well. But on the reviews it says it dries out skin. Do I only need to use moisturizer (if yes what is a really good moisturizer) or will this product totally dry out my skin and moisturizer won't help? Thanks!Acne Bar, Best answer:

YES! I use it all the time. Just after use an oil - free or low oil moisturizer. It makes a big difference.

I would make sure to moisturize every night or day ( Aveeno, or Cetaphil are both good) If you notice irritation and excessive dryness from using the cleansing bar I would cut back the use, you could do every other day, twice a week, whatever suits you best.

definitely use moisturizer! since you get dry skin don't opt for a gel like most people with really oily skin would. Just make sure it's oil free. A thicker consistency is a good idea since this face wash has really high levels of benzoyl peroxide in it. I always like olay moisturizers. Probably get one of the ones for sensitive skin, since your using such a harsh face wash. Their best are their olay complete moisturizing line and then I also love their hydrating beauty fluid which would be thicker if you fin d the olay complete isn't hydrating enough. Dove is also a really great line of moisturizers. I haven't had a lot of experience with high end brands of moisturizers but olay is an excellent moisturizer I think you'll have good luck with it. Panoxyl is also a good wash. helped my acne a lot. You can find these moisturizers at target.
